This video shows Sudha (my grandmother) sewing. She is talking, in Malayalam, about how she used stitch a lot, back when her children were in school, and gift her embroidery to her mother for giving to neighbours. Suprabatham (by Sri Venkateswara) plays in the background; this is a Sanskrit prayer song that was often played in the morning by my grandfather.
